The bureaucrat in Hawaii merely repeated his or her previous statement. That is not what I would call a verification of anything. Under Obamacare, this is the kind of person who will be making my healthcare decisions for me in the future. Terrific.

Hawaii’s Director of the Department of Health said the same thing months ago but it did not quell the birthers’ zeal. I think the issue keeps some of the right-wing extremists occupied with nonsense.

That Yahoo article was hilariously slanted. It was posted right next to an article about how “birthers” are embarrassing the Republicans. Sad that that’s where the talking points on Y/A today seem to stem from, when it is both Dems & Republicans calling bs on this.
The issue kicked up again because there are Congressmen working to pass a resolution to make it clear that a birth certificate needs to be validated in FUTURE elections. The Obama camp protesteth too mucheth, when that only makes sense legally.
While I’d simply like to understand why the Obama lawyers have spent millions keeping this document “off limits”–it doesn’t really matter. Any student of politics looking at the nose diving poll numbers–the minority support for most of his agenda–he’s going to be very ineffectual–worst president than carter was. Conservatives don’t need to do anything –the total lack of inexperience we’ve seen over the last 6 months will tank the dems in the next election. His own sound bites continually bite him. In the long run I think Obama is a gift to conservatives–people will have such a bad taste in their mouth with this guy–probably looking at the 22nd century before people forget enough to vote in another crew like this. Obama by the way is our president. I”m a 5th generation american who didn’t vote for him but believes with all my heart america has the right to do something stupid every now and then–and then he’ll be gone.
My birth certificate says certificate of birth. His says certificate of live birth. I know I’ve bought houses ,gotten cars. passports and drivers licenses . What difference does one word make? Actually by stating live birth gives more information in one statement than one that simply states birth certificate. When you need a certificate all you can get is a copy. The original stays on file. Hawii can’t verify any more than that. The same goes for any other state. There are none so blind as those that will not see.
What haven’t they tried. I personally believe that the execs at FOX News should be arrested for trying to incite a racially fused riot across America.
Um that’s assuming that everyone right now is on one side. The country is divided right now. Thats why we hold elections.
