Between the Liberal Dim Patrick Kennedy’s Oxycontin addiction and Rush’s? Do the same Liberals hope Kennedy’s kidneys fail? Where is the cry for him to step down…I mean he actually broke his probation for running his car up on the barrier at the Capital while high on Oxycontin…so what should be done with him…can we make jokes about this druggie? Please advise…

So Liberals…talking about druggies on the radio is more hypocritical that a Congressman who helps make laws giving tougher sentences to the people abusing the same drug he is…how many times was he yped up on pills while being paid by the Government to do his job…if that was any other Government job he would have been fired…so which is more hypocritical? I think the Lib is…a radio personality has never signed al law to jail people…but Libs protect their own now don’t you?
Actually John I looked and that is about the only thing that he has done was the Mental Illness thing…but there have been several “Harsh Drug Laws” especially with Oxcys passed while he has been in office and I am sure he signed them…what I find hypocritcal is how Liberal will defend him, but rail on others…maybe the “Drug Laws” should be enacted on him since he did violate his probation which I am sure had something to do with not using drugs or drinking…but Politicians are above the law…imagine what would happen to you and me if we crashed our car into a barrier while high on pills…double standard
EDIT: My main point is…it is just as hypocritical to rail against drugs on the radio as it is to vote for laws to make penalties tougher on drug users…just because he is a Dim and part of the so called “American Royal Family” does not give him a get out of jail free card…Liberals would be alot more believable if they would not be so hypocritical…

Edit: Thanks for the link! I did not know Ted K had a son in politics. My point, shared by others, is that Rush had continually abused, verbally, drug addicts (he did not make exceptions for non violent ones who were only hurting themselves and family, sparing society at large) and was one himself. Hypocrisy is a very hard character flaw to excuse!

No one should abuse oxycotin, but there is a major difference between the two doing it. Kennedy just abused it and made an ass of himself. Rush constantly, day in and day out, bashed drug abusers and addicts on his crappy radio show, and was abusing them himself.
And yes, feel free to make jokes. It’s that freedom of speech you’ve heard so much about.
