I would presume, or at least hope, that they turn it over, as evidence, to the authorities who have the proper jurisdiction. Who that is, I don’t know.
Lock it away in a depot and schedule it to be incinerated then sell it on when the heat has died down.

That is just the payoff to the US government for letting so much go by. Don’t you find it a little strange that all the cocaine was stacked on the deck and the boat took a straight course to be intentionally intercepted. Another bust, identical to this, cocaine out in the open instead of in the holds, almost 2 years ago to the day. The drugs are supposed to be held as evidence and then destroyed…..right.

I am not exactly sure about the coast guard but I know that that Narcotics Units burns “all” the drugs that they get.

you are all a bunch of ignorants , what they do is they give it to informants and other good causes . to the less fortunate who can not afford it, here in my hometown , one constable and a sheriff where selling it to blacks and Hispanics true story. they both was whites. so go figure.of course they got arrested but they made a lot of green .

it is confiscated for evidence. it ends up in the governments hands. and eventually it ends up back out on the streets. i herd this years ago from reports while i lived in Chicago, ill.
