Now they have prohibitted Marijuana and other "street" drugs and we have all these drug cartels and gangs that will kill to gain the lifestyle and money that these illegal drugs generate for more crime.. I am a firm believer of legalizing pot and de-criminalizing a few other drugs. Legallizing pot will provide a new industry that can make up for some of the job losses in the world today as well. You need planters, harvesters, packaging, marketing, distribution,etc.. AND the police can be put to use doing other things that they have no time for.. Like investigatin REAL crimes. Have you ever seen anyone beat another because they couldn't control their rage on POT?. Maybe less prowess in the sack, and sleeping through the movie, but hey.. I'll take that any day over a drug or alcohol induced beating. I'm sure they can develop a breathalizer for the driving under the influence thing too...
