DATELAND – Two women are in custody after the biggest meth bust in the history of the U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in the Yuma sector.
Two women are in custody for trying to smuggle 47 pounds, worth over $1 million, of methamphetamine through a Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 8 eastbound near Dateland.
The women approached the checkpoint at about 2 p.m. on Saturday in a 2002 Isuzu Trooper. A canine team reportedly alerted to the back of the SUV which means there may be contraband.
During a secondary inspection of the vehicle agents discovered a hidden compartment above the gas tank. Inside that compartment there were 37 small packages of meth weighing just under 47 pounds worth approximately $1,125,600.
The drugs and SUV were seized and the driver and passenger were taken into custody.

Well truly fun part is though their names are not given, I bet my HAT that if they were “U.S, citizens” they were Mexican-Americans, not Americans of European or Asiatic ancestry…Only Mexican/Hispanic Americans would be this DUMB and NAIVE to try to transport so much dope right across border check point where they know there are drug sniffing dogs and other searches.

Keep something in mind folks… that Meth starts out in the Mexican American Community and THEN it moves into Beverly Hills. Mexican Americans are the next group of youth coming forward, and we want those kids to come forward in good shape. Stop that garbage.. and stop the Mexican Mafia.
and they say they are here to work and take care of their family’s. ya right. i think we have enough to worry about with our own people who are united states citizens doing crimes. we don’t need illegals coming in here making it worse.
