Does this sound like it would work?

Tea Tree Oil can be used as a highly effective douche treatment against yeast infections. It is recommended that you purchase a small dropper bottle that can be used to store the solution.

* Combine 1 teaspoon of Tea Tree Oil with 1 teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).
* Mix the solution, which should appear milky white.
* Store the solution in the dropper bottle.
* Add 10 drops of the solution to a pint of water.
* Use this douche once a day for a week in order to rinse the vagina.

Douching is never a good idea, it upsets the whole flora and fauna of the vagina. Yeast infections are a symptom of something else. Watch your sugar intake, yeast loves sugar.

My questions is why not just use real douche?

“A ten percent solution (about one and a half tablespoons to a cup of warm water) can be used to rinse and clean infected wounds with good results. The same solution makes an effective vaginal douche for treatment of both yeast and Trichomonas infections, but some women may find it irritating.”

“Vaginal Yeast Infections – Use one teaspoon of the oil in a 500 ml. douche daily. You can also soak a tampon in the oil and insert. It can also be taken internally. See the directions for Candida Albicans,”

I don’t know about you biy I’d stick with the over the shelf stuff.

Although tea tree oil in dilution may be used for temporary relief of local discomfort, yeast infections need treatment from within as they point to gut dysbiosis (an upset in the balance between beneficial and pathogenic bacteria and other gut flora). Too much sugar, meat, fizzy drinks to name but a few, contribute to this imbalance.

First of all you need to make sure it is a yeast infection and not something else! A visit to your doctor and a vaginal swab should suffice. Once you have the results, you will know what is wrong and then seek appropriate treatment. Don’t self-diagnose or self-treat because you read something on the web or someone told you!
