By my calculations, based on $450 an ounce, $364,320,000 !!!!! (Over three hundred sixty-five million dollars)

It’s hard to determine the street value of cocaine. I read stories that make no mathematical sense. For example, they’ll say 2 kg of cocaine has street value of $600,000. That’s $9,315 an ounce. Absurd.

Another story said 4ounces was worth $9,100 which also doesn’t make sense. That would be $2,275 an ounce.

However, I believe street value is between $400 – $500 an ounce.

A ton is 2200 pounds. Hence, 2200 lbs times 23 tons is 50,600 pounds, or 809,600 ounces.

That comes to a whopping $364,320,000

I would think its hard to say, since in the drug world prices are lower based upon quantity purchased, thus for example you can not just take the cost of a gram or pound price since you would get a huge discount for large quantity like tons,

So the actual cost to the people who lost 21 tons maybe a few million
