Please help me pick out the right medication for my face.?

Hello,

My situation is this. I believe during the Winter (Although I’ve seen it during the summer) I get dry, flaky white skin around my mouth. I usually peel them off and apply water on them. They come back after awhile though. Moreover, they always come out everytime I eat. So when I’m eating, people can see this weird white flaky stuff around my mouth. Why does it come out when I eat? Also, I have slight discoloration around my mouth so it looks like a goatee.

But I have a solution. Please pick out one of the 3 medications listed. I have very sensitive skin and I’m allergic to Benzol Peroxide. I plan on trying one of them out each night and see how it effective it is in the morning. Keep in mind that they do not mention anything about applying to the face. Thanks!

You should see a dermatologist. It sounds like you may have seborrhaeic dermatitis, which is easily treated with a number of prescription medications that are applied topically.

Self diagnosis is often wrong – and can sometimes be dangerous. You’d be better off applying Vitamin E Oil to the affected area to moisturize the skin & promote healing. Or – see a dermatologist.
