Isn’t it amazing, We are not being asked to take them into our homes, or giving them trailers to live in or anything.
It’s a big difference isn’t it. People from these flooded areas are strong, self-reliant folks who take pride in what they have, take sorrow for what they have lost, and are optimistic about what they will have again. They know it will take a lot of hard work and co-operation, but they have the drive to accomplish it. A large number of the New Orleans people that were shown were not victims of a storm, they were victims of the nanny state. They lived off the government, so when it got bad, it was the government who had to help them. This entitlement class has no pride, feels sorry for only themselves, and have no ambition. Get used to more of this if liberals have total control of the country.
Hmm… both areas were flooded, I guess that must mean the only difference is that white midwestern rural folks are good, and black southern city folks are bad.
You should try to put yourself in the shoes of the other guy sometime. If you were surrounded by miles of floodwater, had dead bodies floating down your street, were cut off from food and drinking water for days, you’d take food, bottled water and as much beer as you could carry from the nearest abandoned 7-11 too.

The slow approaching cyclical flooding of lightly populated areas along the river in no way compares to the virtual destruction of this countries 24th most populous city and coastal region.
And it is shameful to compare the two.
