Are any alcoholic drinks made by fermenting maple syrup? Are any spirits made by distilling the fermented liquor? I’ve heard of maple sugar, made by drying the syrup. Are any other products like candy made from it?

Tommyknocker makes a good maple beer, and I’ve had maple-flavored fudge…can’t think of any others.
