We see it everyday on the news. “A man has been fatally shot 15 times in the chest after a drug deal went wrong”, and “Police have found $300,000 worth of crack cocaine after a drug bust”.
Could this ever stop? Do we really need a world like this? What can be done to live without the thought of being killed?
It will never stop, only an idiot dreams of living in a perfect world. quit your complaining your worries about a couple people killed over a drug deal, be happy you dont live in a third world country were 100′s of people are killed daily just because they are a diffrent tribe or ethnicity. And no violence will never seas as long as men are in charge because, men have to much testorone and ego to talk it out.
It could stop, but it means taking a fundamentally different approach to weapons and drugs, perhaps a step that most people are not willing to embrace.
Legalize all drugs, but tightly control their usage via the government.
I know, I know. I already hear the complaints on that one and I agree. people cannot be trusted and you are going to get sone person, high on coke, plowing down people on the sidewalk with his car.
BUT if you take it away from the criminal element and undercut their ability to make profit from this, you may also reduce the need for the guns that they use to protect what they have.
Now, America in 1901 was call a dope fiend’s heaven, as all kinds of drugs (like heroin, cocaine and opium) were readily and easily available. But the attitude then was different. people did not take the drugs for the mere reason to get high; they felt there was genuine medicinal value in all this.
Today, we don;t have that sense of propriety and the potential of a doped out society cannot be easily dismissed.
Something must be done and stamping it out has proven not to work

Nope! It’s just way to easy to buy a gun these days. A example of a society that isn’t armed to the teeth as America is the UK. They can’t own such and still things will happen.
What happens when world peace is achieved? The truth is as humans, we need conflicts and problems to solve and create, or else their is no point to life. Civilization and laws were built to control people, if there was no need to control; people wouldn’t need civilization and we could live in a jungle.
you know the closest I have ever come to that is in a segregated society where everyone is the same, but that is not found often anywhere. We need to educate ppl and stop being ignorant of other cultures ourselves. Everyone has different beliefs we all need to help each other accept everyone for who they are and not put pressure on each other to change them dramatically. example is religious pursuit, we all find “god” in our own way, why does every one have to judge every one else’s view? as for drugs and drug murders, our borders need closed to everyone without a legal visa, and education and rehabs need to help ppl who have addictive personalities on the streets get help, which isn’t happening.

God Almighty would have to wipe our memories and take away our free will and control everything that we think, say and do.
Other than that man will find a way to kill other men and get high before, during and after doing it.
it is impossible to live in the present generation with out wepaon because now a days many nations like america and china and etc are leading other countrys by occupieng which disturbs the world peace and wars in the interior of nations .
if you want a socienty or world with out weapons it is only in the age where there are no weapons and drugs
I feel the same way and often wonder how we can better society. Unfortunately, not everyone is like us and don’t want to better themselves or our world and so we’re back to step one. Thats why communism didn’t work because some people are greedy and only think for their own benefit. Be the change you want to see in this world.
