I am a Wiccan and my mother has a problem with alcohol but won’t admit it. I wanted to know what spells were out there to help her overcome this and maybe even cure her.
Am so sorry to hear that. Alcoholism is a dreadful addiction that destroys so many lives in so many subtle ways. I truly wish there were some magic incantation that would cure her of that, sadly though, like most of real life, things aren’t solved that easily.
No spell would ever cure her. Sobriety has to be a choice for it to ever work. Google “Alcoholics Anonymous.” Ritual prayers never hurt. Make your own.
With God’s help it can be done. I know because my husband is a recovering alcoholic and he has been sober for 10 years now. Without my faith and strength that was given to me by the grace of God, I wouldn’t not still be with him and be a complete family unit.
Pray to God that He gives you and your mother strength and direction to overcome the anguish alcoholism can bring into your life’s. I DID AND HE DID HELP MY HUSBAND AND THE FAMILY.
I am a recovering alcoholic. Thar iz no cure for the disease. The best
thing is attend AA……but really it has to be your mother’s decision.
Continue to show you are concerned and will be thar for her. Myself
I am physically disable from drinking….wheelchair and impaired voi-
ce.
I learned some people like myself we just have to hit bottom. Before
we can say, “Enough iz enough!”
In order to get and remain sober is to change friends and playgrounds.
Really though it has to be the individual to make that decision to put a
plug in the jug. Also have a strong support system….meaning you
yourself don’t drink.
As a Wiccan, I don’t believe in casting spells on others even if I think it is in their best interest. My own mother has had cancer and did not want me doing healing spells on her, and I respected her wishes.
Second problem is that if you have not learned how to do magic (and I’m assuming you don’t or you wouldn’t need to ask this question), it’s not going to work for you. Magic requires a lot of study and mental discipline to work for you. You can’t just wave a wand, light a candle and chant a rhyme to make things happen.
Take the bottle out of her hand…………..
Or put glue on the ends of the bottles and dip them in broken glass……………..
It’s called “intervention”.
Spells aren’t real. Try therapy instead.
Try Rehabitus Immedius.
Please, you use a computer,a product of science and reason, spells are total BS.
Alcoholism is not an “ale”ment.
So it cannot be cured.
It’s not spells she needs, it’s intervention by her loved ones.

I do wish you well.
Arguably Cure Disease, castable by 7th level clerics, since alcoholism is considered a disease.
Of course, in the real world there’s no such thing as magic.
There is nothing you can do to help her unless she is fully on board and really wants to help herself.
Go to an Alonon meeting.
