What are good boundries to set for myself regarding my alcoholic husband?

is setting a boundary of not being around my alcoholic husband while he is drinking, a realistic plan. Does alanon encourage this?

I have to say, your safety should come first. So if you feel unsafe being around your husband when he’s drunk then you should listen to your guts.

That is a start. and do-able. I do think you should go to a meeting though for they will help you make the right steps.

Alcoholics just get worst, and worst.. and you are part of the problem.

Learn what that means and learn how to change things for both of you through alanon groups. They are private and the best help out there ever for this situation.

some people just get kind of lost…..

Yes, but it is not a good way for you to continue being married. Alanon would address this.
