Well, not EVERYONE has hangovers – if you don’t drink too much, you don’t have a hangover. To prevent a hangover, either 1) don’t drink to excess or 2) make sure to drink water while you’re drinking alcohol. The type of alcohol doesn’t matter as much as the concentration/proof. The higher the proof, the more alcohol per volume, so the fewer drinks it takes to get drunk, and produce the morning-after effects.
Its not really the drink that causes the hang over. However some are worse than others. My advice would be stay away from beers, lagers and ales. Stick with one spirit + mixer through your night out. For example i like vodka and lemonade. If you get bored of one drink you can have other like me i could drink smirnoff ice or WKD (vodka based drinks). if you can drink one glass of water for every shot’s worth of vodka you drink then you will most likely have no hangover. Try and drink this water throughout the night instead of having two pints at the end. Drink some water before you go to bed too.
The key to avoiding a hangover is drink as few different types of alchohol as possible, and lots of water.
I’ve heard that the lighter the colour, the less of a hangover, so Vodka Gin Bacardi etc, but the best bet is to drink some water between drinks and if you’re still capable, drink at least a pint of water before you go to sleep, cos its the dehydration that causes the problems
The type of alcohol definately does matter. Darker alcohols like whiskey will leave a stronger hangover than a clear liquid like vodka. Also the more a liqour is distilled the better it will be for you. Higher end bottles like grey goose or johnny walker blue, you can drink all night without a hangover the next morning. A good drink i have made is called a gooserade. Gatorade and grey goose together for you last drink. Tastes great and rehydrates you. The first guy was right, rumplemintz doesnt give you one either, peppermint in it is a stomach soother. Dont drink cheap liqour, youll feel it in the morning!
stick to the mix drinks…ohhh and stay away from vodka, and tequila! some mixed drinks are really strong and will fuck you up…but others are made to relax and enjoy
Stick with drinks that come with umbrellas or, better yet, are served in a coconut. If you’re lucky you’ll go home with a nice guy who will make you his bitch.
Ruplemintz …….100 proof and no hangover (,I think had something to do with waking up in that ditch late in the afternoon )……….. good luck man ,
I don’t get hangovers from vodka.

there isnt one
you know my gma would get hangovers, so in the morning she’d make a raddish sandwich, so try that.
I heard that a good scotch will not give you a hang over
The best way to avoid hang overs is not to mix your drinks. If you start on beer just stick to it.

Try this: either take a Pepcid AC before drinking or, supplement a water in between every other drink or so. Presto, no hangover.
