Why is it that, when Michael Jackson died, that everyone began to call him a ‘drug addict’ when he did not do what is commonly referred to as street drugs, and when Billy Mays dies, no one harasses him for using to cocaine? Here is the news.

I agree, Michael is judged unfairly.
I think it is just because he is a bigger star. He gets ragged on by people who dislike him, but he also gets lots of good things like books and tributes. Billy Mayes doesn’t get ragged on for his drugs but he also didn’t get as much attention.
I think that when someone dies we should only remember the good things about them. That is what i would want for me, so that is what i do for others.

it is because people are stupid and like to make crap up when someone comes out and proves to be something Michael Jackson’s hit songs were all about humanitarianism and he supported more charities than anyone else.
Michael Jackson was a little black kid from Indiana, according to the stupid people of the world, he was never suppose to be as big as he was and Michael proved them wrong and at the same time never did anything completely outrageous to lash out at the media. the media taunted him and tried to break him but he never broke.
he kept on with everything that he believe in and everything the sang in his songs. which is why he IS the greatest entertainer that EVER lived!
I don’t consider Michael Jackson a drug addict. The problem is within the doctor. What the doctor did was seriously wrong. How many people did he treat in such a way or was it only Michael? I doubt it. I hope they come forward. This must stop. Michael put his trust in the doctor and this is what he gets. Michael Jackson was not a drug addict at all.
Hey, why did/does everyone still listen to R. Kelly, he was accused of child molestation, and was accquitted, yet when MJ was accquited some people stopped? They radio, stopped playing MJ during/after his trial, yet they still play Chris Brown music through his? Of course, he was judged and still is judged unfairly, first of all you should judge someone by the content of their character, not by the way they look or because they are different. Some people don’t seem to get that. They were simply jealous of him, and there are just some people that are full of hatred.
