Will Lindsay Lohan get off with a slap on the wrist?

What do you think of this:

Personally I think she should have to do jail time like any ‘normal’ person would, but she’ll probably get preferential treatment again because of her celebrity status. Don’t you think it is time for this type of thing to stop?
ghostrider you might be right that jail’s not the place for these ladies but I don’t see that rehab is doing much to help them either. I don’t know what the answer is. I just hate the example they set for young girls who look up to them, not just because of the drugs, alcohol and partying, for the materialistic and self-centered attitude too.

she should go to jail, she needs to grow up and that will be the place to do it.

I think she needs to realize that she is ruining her life and has a lot of problems. She needs to take a year or two off to think things over and jail is probably the only place for her to do that.

Going to jail isn’t going to solve anything for her. It’s not like she’d be going to the same jail you and I would have to go to. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have to worry about getting “shanked” at breakfast or violated in her cell. Rehab is where these young stars belong. They are too young, too immature for this star status and all the money that’s being thrown at them so soon. Look at Britney. She’s rapidly becoming a “has-been”. Time for Lindsay to grow up.

    I hope not.

I hope not but she probably will. And she’ll go out and do the same thing. Only this time someone will end up dead someone innocent ( just think of that lawsuit) or Lindsay herself. I hope she gets well though and doesn’t OD . If that were to happen I think her foolish fans would just idolize her sent her up as some sort of legend.
