My best friend. My friend since birth is planning on spending the rest of her life with a man who treats her like shit. he’s an alcoholic, he’s controlling and he’s lazy. This girl is so smart. A nurse wants to continue with her education. A sweetheart. I’ve said many times i don’t like the relationship but i can’t say anything anymore becuz it’s her choice. Do i just sit back and watch her make the biggest mistake of her life?
Like you said, it is her choice. All you can do is be a friend, not her mother. Be behind her choice now as that is what a friend does, and be behind her if she needs a couch in a few years.
