I drank some type of Absinthe. That shit smelt and tasted like rubbing alcohol. one swig and i was drunk off my ass. i think it was somewhere in the 90% alcohol area. not sure…this was two years ago.
Homemade Grappa. It was pretty much moonshine status and burned worse than anything I’ve ever experienced. Right before the burn took me out it tasted pleasantly of lemons.
My favorite is beer or red wine depending on the occasion and weather. I won’t say no to sake though.
Grain alcohol, “Everclear.” I think it’s about 190 proof. Most F-d up though was on injected watermelon. I don’t know how long that thing had been sitting around but I was OUT!
Definitely Everclear and Moonshine. The strongest mixed drink though is an old college standby: Four Horsemen (Johny Walker, Jack Daniels, Jose Cuervo, and Jim Bean).
I’m not sure what it was exactly, my friend called it firewater. I should’ve taken that as a hint. I don’t remember anything else from 10 pm to 5 pm the next day, and I woke up in someone else’s clothes.
alc/vol value then Everclear…..pure shitty awful taste value, then Dead Guy Ale
favorites….about 20 different beers with Sweetwater 420, Coors Original, and Heineken topping the list, Crown Royal and Coke, Chardonay….variety is the spice of life….the list is long
Absinthe is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic (45%–74% ABV) beverage.[1][2][3][4] It is an anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia absinthium, commonly referred to as “grande wormwood”. Absinthe traditionally has a natural green color but can also be colorless. It is commonly referred to in historical literature as “la fée verte” (the Green Fairy).
Although it is sometimes mistakenly called a liqueur, absinthe was not bottled with added sugar and is therefore classified as a spirit.[5] Absinthe is unusual among spirits in that it is bottled at a very high proof but is normally diluted with water when drunk.
Absinthe originated in the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. It achieved great popularity as an alcoholic drink in late 19th- and early 20th-century France, particularly among Parisian artists and writers. Due in part to its association with bohemian culture, absinthe was opposed by social conservatives and prohibitionists. Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Vincent van Gogh, Oscar Wilde, and Aleister Crowley were all notorious ‘bad men’ of that day who were (or were thought to be) devotees of the Green Fairy.[6]
Absinthe was portrayed as a dangerously addictive psychoactive drug.[7] The chemical thujone, present in small quantities, was singled out and blamed for its alleged harmful effects. By 1915, absinthe had been banned in the United States and in most European countries except the United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Although absinthe was vilified, no evidence has shown it to be any more dangerous than ordinary spirit. Its psychoactive properties, apart from those of alcohol, have been much exaggerated.[7]
A revival of absinthe began in the 1990s, when countries in the European Union began to reauthorize its manufacture and sale. As of February 2008, nearly 200 brands of absinthe were being produced in a dozen countries, most notably in France, Switzerland, Spain, and the Czech Republic.[8] Commercial distillation of absinthe in the United States resumed in 2007.[
Absinthe this shit is not as hard as most are saying. The only time i’ve benn really drunk was drinking straight everclear. not sure of the proof but i was prukin up blood among other thing. Was not a good idea
everclear and jager in a drink with just a shot glass of juice we drink it in wy all the time its 50% everclear and 50% jager so im 6ft 2in and 208lbs and im a drinker but after 2 or 3 im out like a light lol
When I was in Korea, they had this stuff called Soju (sp?) and it was pretty strong, but kinda like everclear. It was amazing and it you could barely taste it. I’m a pretty heavy drinker, and after two drinks, I was done for the night.
Bacardi 151 proof that i drunk the most and if people will put thumbs down on me hey that’s cool i’m sure some people drunk more stronger staff in their life but it’s me so go ahead
Moonshine was the strongest…it was 98% alcohol by volume or 196 proof – similar to Everclear. I took a sip and thought I was tough enough to take a shot…apparently I was, but my stomach wasn’t.
My father in law proceded to show us that you can run an automobile, lawn mower, or chain saw on moonshine that same night. Oh – and it is very, very flamable!
My favorite alcoholic beverage has to be anything mixed with rum, or any kind of rum on the rocks. All types of beer – Killian’s is one of my favorites. You can’t go wrong with a Margarita either – not a frozen “girly” Margarita, but the original on the rocks served in a pitcher Margarita. I love, love, love wine – all types. I love to pair wine with my meals.
I am not sure of the concentration as it was Kentucky moonshine. A friend of mine while in the Air Force brought some back from his home in KY. It was real pooper for sure.
vodka
vick’s cough syrup. oh boy is it strong.
Bacardi 151 (151 proof).but with Coke.
