Authorities have arrested nearly 100 people and seized guns and drugs in a sting operation at San Diego State University in California, the Drug Enforcement Administration said Tuesday.
Among those arrested were 75 students, some of them working toward criminal justice or homeland security degrees. One criminal justice major was charged with possession of guns and cocaine, authorities said.
One student sent a mass text message offering a “sale” on cocaine, the DEA said in a news release.
I’d bet they could make the same bust on just about any campus in the US. Does it really surprise anyone that college kids are doing drugs?
Hollywood has told EVERY college age or college-bound KID that college is supposed to be “party time”…. so NO, none of this amazes me.

SDSU students have never been known for their intelligence, nor, apparently, their street smarts. I’m actually surprised it was only 100 students.
I’m equally surprised that University of San Diego hasn’t had a cocaine raid, that’s where the rich kids go to school.

No not surprising at all. Just incredibly stupid individuals. It happens in every university, just that they hide it a whole lot better. As long as there is this ‘party’ culture in universities, expect this to continue.

I go to sdsu, and the fact drugs on campus you would have to be blind to not realize. Every school campus jr high and up has some form of drugs. what did surprise me, was how much this group had been selling. There was a ton of coke, money and waepons. the fact many wanted to become cops or feds ect makes me think we would just have many more dirty cops. I think its funny tho that they were holding a sale, to be able to hurry and go to vegas after finals. sucks to make it this far in college for nothing.
by no means should this give all sdsu students bad name or make the call they are not smart. sdsu is a great college students as a whole are generally pretty smart. the only differences hee from any other college is these idiots got caught
