Whats wrong with our American celebrities today in this country? It always seems like something always ends up going wrong with them. Look at Lindsey Lohan. I used to like watching early movies she did such as the parent trap and such. Busted for drunk driving and cocaine possession. Martha Stewart, lied in court under oath, Michael Jackson, accussed of child molestation (though I think he is innocent), and if you have been watching the news lately this football player was busted for dog fights. But if a celebrity goes to jail or prison, don’t they get like special treatment or something because they still have money? Do you guys think celebrities get special treatment? I do sometimes. Like when they get sentenced to jail, why is it for only 24 hours or something? what kills me is they act like they can’t do it. Parris Hilton was only in jail for a big 23 days, not even a month and she was still fretting about it. But celebrities always seem to end up doing something dumb.
And the media always love to get stories to defame celebrities to. Harsh isn’t it.

becuase that they think that they are better than everyone else so they dont think that they are going to get caught doing drugs or drinking and driving or many other illegal think like the michael vick story he didnt think that he was going to get caught making dogs fight or killing dogs!

I dont think it has anything to do with anything going to anyones head I think that when you give someone everything its hardfor them to stop. how many of us could walk into any bar we wanted at 15 but Lindsay Lohan could because she was rich. Almost any youngster would take advantage of that. Britney is nuts because she is now hearing no for the first time in her life. they all hear yes every time they ask for something and it makes it hard for them to find the line that is clearly drawn for the rest of us as normal people with normal pocket books.
Their own celebrity goes to their heads… They have too much money and feel that they are beyond the law. They are also very spoiled because they usually have some other people serving their every request and doing the blocking for them whenever necessary.

Fame gets to their heads, and things happen. They make mistakes just like regular people, it is just over publicized so we hear all the bad parts about it. There isn’t an exact answer to why they do stupid stuff, of course it varies with each celeb. They all have different backgrounds and different lives so everything is very specific. They loose control of who they are, and let everything go in one ear and out the other, they listen to what is good for them, and stop thinking realistically. By the way for our young starlets doing drugs, they are stupid. People who do drugs obviously aren’t thinking about the affects it has on people, they loose control of everything that is meaningful to them, and get lost in the moment. Young celebs don’t care about their fans, they just want to party, fame gets to their heads and they figure they are young and rich, and partying comes easy.
The media…is our fault. We watch, we read, we buy.
Celebrities have a hard time admitting that fame and money change their lifestyles. No ifs, ands, or buts.
And, it’s human nature to avoid guilt. Noone likes to admit they’re wrong.
With that being said, there are some really retarded celebs out there. Alcohol is a horrible friend to have if you’re looking to stay out of the spotlight.
As far as special treatment….our fault again. We vote the judges into office, the sherriffs into office, and the assembly people that are usually friends with big wigs to receive financial support.

celebrities commit stupid acts at the same rate that the rest of us do. the difference is that when a famous person does something stupid we all see it on the tabloid shows. if the average person constantly had a photographer following them around, then we would realize how much stupidity there is in this world.
Celebrities do stupid things for the same reasons why we do stupid things. They’re human. I know some people don’t want to believe their idol’s are imperfect but they are. I don’t think the problem is stupid things celebrities do. I think the real issue is a judgemental self righteous public.
first of all, Michael Jackson’s name shouldn’t be there because he didn’t do anything, but as for the others, they have money, they buy stupid things, the think they are invincible, but also, they are in the spot light 24/7 i mean we do stupid things like that also. there are people that aren’t celebrities that do the same exact things that Martha Stewart, MIchael Vick, and Lindsay Lohan did it’s just that all they get is a little corner in the news paper that no one looks at when the celebrities get front page of People Magazine.
