@igustistwinkle
Alcoholism isn’t a disease though is it? More like an addiction, mentally at first then physically. The diseases (like liver disease) come from alcohol addiction/abuse.
I’m an alcoholic and it was never forced on me, it’s just something I like to do, all day, everyday. I’ve never made excuses, I’m quiet, considerate and still manage to get things done properly throughout the day.
Alcoholism is the fakest disease i’ve ever heard of. It’s just a “disease” that was made up so loser people who can’t hang and control there alcohol always have an excuse. Does “alcolism” just magically put a beer in your hand and a gun to your head, NO, people just have to learn to be responsible and stop looking for sorry excuses.
@DLC77 your write i havnt drunk for nealy two years i cant go to pubs or clubs coz i will drink my social life is rubbish coz all everyone does is drink!! an makes me depressed when ever i see people drinkin like this it makes me want one like cravings for a cigaret but if im not around it im fine
It’s a disease!

im an alcoholic ive experience all of this already.. sometimes i cry because i just cant stop…
@DaVeinAZ928
I have friends who have died of drug use. Ive used all sorts of drugs my entire life but no matter how much I do. I will never blame it on addiction. I will only blame myself because drug abuse is you repeatedly making the choice no matter how you put it. If you like drinking thats because you like doing it. If you need it to be normal thats because you have gotten used to having fun with it. Not because you can’t say no. If I were you I wouldn’t ruin drinking for yourself.
@abdulbade
Well it depends on what you like buddy. Alcohol only stays in ones system for 24 hours at the longest. Now marijuana is 30 days and sometimes even longer. Alcohol makes you social and makes you bounce around all night. Marijuana turns you into a couch potato and makes you gain a hundred pounds in a month. Alcohol is a romantic drug. You seen the bottle of wine poured during a romantic dinner. Marijuana increases Anxiety as Alcohol does the opposite and is good for your heart.
I suppose after everyone watches this video we would all be alcoholics. Here are the facts. It is normal to always want to finish a drink and not waste half of it and It is also normal to want another beer after having just one. It is normal to plan who you will be drinking with next to have a good time and have an idea. Because without plans is what makes an Alcoholic who drinks everyday. I honestly find most people against Alcohol to be the ones who have never had a bottle in there hand ever.
weed is better, but it can get out of control for some people, i think its all about the person, as some people have addicted personality
@koga666 and you’re a pathetic Swedish eunuch socialist piece of emo cunt garbage. haha
leave her ass if she wont change,@abdulbade
you’re an idiot@Markohoppis
and once you sober up all your “friends” aka drinking buddies arent there anymore
Being an alcoholic sucks. You’re doomed, like having a bomb permanently strapped to you. At least that’s how it is for me.
well that’s disturbing.
“If you find self-reform too hard
In spite of your intense desire
For lack of firmness to discard
The habits that stink of the mire,
There is no reason to despair,
Try what you can time and again,
Beseech your Maker to repair
The faults and you in strength will gain.”

wow, i’m 18 and only started drinking two years ago. i’d stopped for a very long time, but now I drink several times a week, I try not to do it on a daily basis, I mostly manage, I mostly drink because of being depressed or I just crave it anyway. according to this video, I could very well be an alcoholic…
I am drunk now.
I am an alcoholic. Live by the bottle, die by the bottle.
ITS NOT A DISEASE, ITS A MENTAL DISORDER!!!. get it right.

@eljaa75 dude you should come to america…you will feel like you live in an esteemed university…
0:56, better than a solar eclipse.
I have a problem, I live in a country full of idiots… (finland) ….so thats why I drink alone in the dark.
that was a bottle of jack(: 0:26
some people need more information on alcoholism, it took me 5 years to get off the disease :|
@pepperlemonade Diabetes is not alcoholism, although it may be induced by such behaviour.
@auntiesanity Then what do you call diabetes?
@thewritepassion Sheesh, finally. someone who gets it… THANK YOU!
@emptysoul07 Nothings wrong with it, if you can actually stop after that.
American students are fucking stupid.
when will Marijuana be legal
I prefer the term chronic relapsing condition to disease regarding alcoholism. To the person below who said it’s simple to just stop drinking did you know that “cold turkey” withdrawal from alcohol is actually life threatening so anyone who is drink dependent and wants to stop should always seek professional help.
Alcoholism is not a disease. It is a choice. Tell someone with cancer that alcohlism is a disease and if they still have the strength they will smack the shit out you
WHat is alcoholism??? It’s a figment of the imagination!!! If someone is suffering from alcohol abuse or alcohol dependency they can just stop fucking drinking. It’s rather simple when you think about it.
i like all the marlboro light packs on the floor when the bro’s passed out.
@thewritepassion yes smoking can be a contributing factor to cancer, but that’s different than saying smoking IS a disease…….
You MAY have an “uncontrollable desire to drink”, but it’s just a desire. It will lessen in time. But don’t nuthin’ MAKE you get the money, go to the store, buy the booze, open the bottle, and pour it down your throat…………..
in italy is not disease. it’s just like coffee.
uhhh…..Drink Moderately…..can I do that when I’m ready to learn Drunken Master???
= =”
fuck this guy, were all gonna die. drink!
Thanks…now what are the results from my pap smear?
ive been going to AA for awhile now, still cant say i like the cult-like mentality but its better than drinking. and it does cause impotence, a guy in one of my meetings had the balls to say that he became impotent at 34 from drinking so much.
I did an interview with author Dr Simon Casey who specializes in helping people with addictions, mental illness and relationships. You can listen to it for free at my youtube channel. I hope this helps people out there that need information and support.
