addicted people who when on narcotics become more angry and take out their problems on other people in violent ways. have you tried a narcotic? what was it? how did you feel?

Christie would need to WANT to quit first. Then she needs to see her doctor and request help. He can get her into a rehab program, or if she hasn’t been addicted long, might be able to get her off the drugs himself. Good luck!
Only narcotics I had were post op and never more than 3 doses. I hate taking meds and I also am blessed with a high pain tolerance. How did I feel? Hmm, got rid of the post op pain and that is all I felt about it.

i have been on percocet for a torn ACL. Its nasty and made me puke my guts up. My brother on the other hand buys them off the street and pops 5 10mg’s at a time and gets all trashed on them.
Its not a good look if you are trying not to be a trailer trash junkie like my brother. Its actaully gross.
I agree with Isle, she would have to want to stop using drugs. Sometimes people don’t realize they are acting the way they do when they are an addict. My mother used to take vicodin like candy for her back and was the meanest person in the world when taking them. She didn’t realize, so we tape recorded her and played it back for her to listen to, it was a wake up call for her. If she’s not vocally abusive to you, there’s not much you can do because if you cut and pasted what she said, she would say you could alter it to make her look bad. I was on narcotics but I wasn’t mean, it just made me sleepy.
I think a doctor should be involved here
