Question by debeefster: dose 800 mg ibuprofen have any kind of narcotic in it ? i am in NA recovery and value sobriety?
i have a tooth that needs to come out but cant get in for another 3 days and my girlfriend said there is no narcotic in it but best to ask a bunch of people and get a consensus of opinion

None that I know of. Read the ingredients. I take ibuprofen and I just looked at the bottle-no narcotics listed.

There is no narcotic in it but that is a high dose so you shouldn’t take more at a time unless a doctor tells you to. I forget if its ibuprofen or acetaminaphen that people use at a high dose to kill their liver to suicide… I don’t want you to die. I want you to live.
Let me search and put links before. I would also ask your NA counselor who can give you more info or even your local pharmacist.
There are no narcotics in that medication…
