I think that cannibus should me legalized, however, it should have a age resriction. This seems completely logical to me. One, it would save the government billions of dollars in prosecution. Two, it could give people who are about to turn 21 something else to experience. And i know somebody is going to say, “if they legalized cannibus then underage kids will use it like alcohol”. News flash, kids drink alcohol all of the time, kids will always experiment. If every american teen got taken into custody for smoking and/or drinking, there would be about 500 people in this wonderful country of ours, Home of the free indeed. I don’t smoke that much, it just seems like theres not that much wrong with cannibus that isn’t already expressed in a legal drug alcohol, so why not legalize? Who thinks that cannibus should be legalized with an age restricion? SMOKE RESPONSIBLY

It is not legal because of politics, Same reason why acid and shrooms are illegal. No one OD’s or get addictive to shrooms or grass like someone would on coke or heorion. People putt a blanket over drugs and say there all bad. Look at the facts, no one has ever OD’d on acid. Alcohol kill about more the anyone. Shrroms and grass would open peoples eyes, they would see that goveremnt is a prison. Thye would see what life was really about, that making money and gaining maertail gains is not what its about. Its about love, greed drives capitalism.

the only reason it is illegal is because it started out underground, when they found out about it, it was already too widespread, and without the ability to tax an underground substance, they decided to make it illegal. they know its not dangerous and if anyone did research like i did they would know the same. the reason they couldnt is the same reason they cant today.
if anyone tells you its dangerous ask them why and they will give you a reason that makes no sense because theyre all hear-say and know nothing.

I doubt it. Look at how much money they make on seizing property from people, and the cash. They probably won’t legalize it simply because they can’t regulate it well enough to make money off it. I personally don’t like it, but I don’t object to others because it’s natural. Odds of it being legalized I think are slim. I think it revolves solely around money.

In a number of states marijuana is legal for medical use. However Federal law trumps state law. Nonetheless, it’s obvious to any thinking person that America’s Drug war and drug laws are insane.
I read somewhere that the government is finally going to allow responsible researchers: psychiatrists, chemists to use the federal supply of LSD for legitimate scientific investigation. If you are interested at all in LSD read a book called “Acid Dreams” ” A cultural history of LSD” by Lee & Schlain (sp) Amazon has it. It will blow your mind.
Have you forgotten about cigarettes and how that seems to p**s people off ? If people can’t smoke cigarettes with freedom then they would never let cannabis be legalized.
2nd. Tobacco is controlled. It would be easier for me to grow cannibus than to find tobbaco to grow and with that kind of control over tobbaco, cannibus doesn’t have a chance.
First of all people have OD on Acid. Anyway weed would bring in huge tax dollars since the giant corporations would take over growing it and the govt could tax it to hell. Plus you would clear out prison systems and there would be less need for law enforcement. Only problem is exactly as I said above job loss and that isn’t just here it is overseas. Half the poor worthless countries in the world sole income is the drug trade. These countries would be thrown into mass genocide without the drug trade. Not to mention people are retarded and simply won’t allow it.
So you are advocating that we make it legal because kids are doing it anyway…and then place an age restriction on it so that kids can violate that because they do it anyway? Where is the logic in your argument? I completly lost it.
Why should they make it legal then? They make far more money off your fines than they would off the tax from the sale of cannibus. And to the person that argues that NO ONE HAS OD’ed on acid or shrooms – please check ALL of the facts before sounding in. There are many cases each year of deaths related to acid or shrooms.
