Question by conerned2006: how and where do I find out about NON Narcotic pain relievers for an addicted person in pain?
the pain is from a neck injury, not deadly he has two disks rubbing with no cartlidge between them.

Best place on a Sunday is to go to your local Pharmacy and ask the Pharmacist. They are educated in all meds.

Ask a doctor, but you can always try over the counter pain relivers.
Honestly, its better you consult a specialist / family MD to find out what’s best for your friend. I really want to help but I don’t think I can give better answers than specialist do. Sorry.
