You defend ecstasy because it’s obvious you are a user. I imagine crack heads also think crack is entirely safe.

This study is completely unlegitimate. “ecstasy”, or mdma, itself is not what is causing these deaths. It’s the fact that mdma is one of the notorious drugs for being impure and mixed with other, often more dangerous, substances. Also, people being stupid and not drinking water. The drug can be very safe IF it is used responsibly and you know what you’re ACTUALLY getting in your pills. the term “ecstasy” is thrown around way too much, and it gives mdma a bad rep

    COMPLETE FABRICATION

  8. SHOCKELECTRIK says:

    600 deaths over ten years

    = 60 deaths a year

    = 1 death a week

after considering the conservative estimate that 3 million people regularly take ecstasy each weekend, that makes 156 million doses a year or 1.5 billion doses over 10 years

After 1.5 billion doses, 600 are fatal.

    600 into 1.5 billion = 25,000

    chances of dying = 1 in 25,000

  9. AdminDan says:

correction: bad ecstasy is more likely to kill than speed or meth.

    this research is b b b bollshit

  11. Siccuspiscis says:

605 deaths over a period of 10 years compared to how many 100′s of thousands of alcohol and tobacco related deaths? It seems Professor Nutt was correct in his assessments. I noticed these were ecstasy ‘related’ deaths, I wonder if alcohol was as a factor? To compare ecstasy with crystal meth is laughable, read up on crystal meth and see the results for yourselves.
