Question by Oliver: How do I break an addiction to pornography?
What steps do I have to take to break the habit/addiction of watching porn? I just came out of a relationship (rather abrubtly) in which I had sex frequently (1-2 times per week). I watched porn before that relationship and now I do again, but I didn’t watch any for the thirteen months I was in the relationship.
I don’t want counseling or anyone else to know. I just want to break it myself. What can I do?

You have to set in your mind to stop it for good. Read the Bible instead of a playboy. Simple as that!
What do you think? Answer below!

Get an internet blocker, so all site with any reference to porn are banned.
Throw out all your old videos and tapes.
And put all the money you would spend on it aside.
By the end of so many months, treat yourself to some new clothes, or a night out.
Sorry about the break up

Could it be that you’re bored and lonely?
I know I do a lot of useless, pointless stuff when I’m bored and lonely.
Perhaps you could take up a new, possibly physically active hobby, such as tennis, jogging, or biking.
Perhaps you need to go to a library or bookstore and search until you find something truly interesting.
And most of all, perhaps you need friends, of various ages and both sexes.
I hope this helps.
the best way to do it is don’t do it, but seriously if it is an addiction then what you may want to do is get some help, a program that deals especially with sex addiction
I know you think you can break the habit but the truth is if you are an addict you cant
I wish you luck, a program that you may want to check out is called SA, sexaholoics annomous
Don’t allow yourself to be in a position where it is easily accessable, like on the net when you are most vulnerable or where ever, keep busy with other activities good luck to you I will be praying for ya!
I have a question for you…
Whats wrong with porn?
Your obviously cool with pre-marital sex, I don’t see what the problem then is with wanking off. If its because you didn’t look at any porn for the 13 month relationship, the answer is obvious: You were getting laid!
So my answer is continue to look at that porn, those ladies get paid good money to pose naked for you and not looking at them is to disrespect their hard work.
How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet
1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog Porn Filter, you can get it from http://www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That’s important.
2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov
3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.
4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.
5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.
6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.
Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don’t let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.
