Rush always ranted, non stop, about how all drug addicts who were busted breaking the law re drug offenses should be sent straight to prison, but his tune changed once it was his ___ that was in the proverbial sling,
Should he have been a stand up man, and shining example to young people as a man of his word, and demanded to be locked up for the samje amount of time, and in the same sort of prison, as the other drug offenders busted with the amount of Oxycontin that he had amassed?

Much of what he was accused of never happened. The left wing media wanted him to fall. No matter what you think of Rush, talk radio is big because of him. He confessed he had a problem on his show and went into rehab. He successfully completed rehab and is now clean. Unlike Slick Willy who “never inhaled”, Rush took responsibility for his actions.
He’s a total hypocrite. He did so much Oxycontin it caused nearly complete deafness in both his ears. And after he was let off the hook, he’s caught with viagra that was prescribed for someone else. He’s a doctor shopping scumbag who arrogantly lectures the ‘peons’ on how easy it is to do the right thing, all the while feeling the rules shouldn’t apply to him because he’s famous and has a radio show, after all
No. We have far too many people packing our prison system as part of our failed “war on drugs”. Limbaugh does damage to our country, but he shouldn’t be locked up.

Probably not since for all other intents and purposes he’s an upstanding individual. Where’s the sympathy liberals and Democrats hold for any drug addicts who don’t coincidentally stand against them politically.
