I just think, that with how wicked their hearts are(extremists), you have to treat them as such. Why give mercy to someone who would see your kids heads slowly cut off? Torture anyone and they will confess to assassinating Lincoln. It’s simply not a reliable way to get information. A person under that much duress r will simply tell you what ever you want to hear. The Real world is that faulty information can lead to the death of our soldiers by putting them in very bad situations and extending our military and intelligence in the wrong direction exposing us to attacks on our blind sides.
