Question by Michael L: how did you feel when you first got sober? a question for recovering addicts?
ive been in recovery for a while but relapsed a lot and now im dead serious about staying sober but i feel so hopeless and scared… like its over for me. im 26 and ive done it all from acid to E to just plain binge drinking. i just want to hear about how people have felt physically and mentally so i dont have to feel so ALONE in this myself. so what was it like for you?

it was crazyyy man i felt empty,i got depressed alot i felt tired..i was grouchy and i gained alot of weight i went from 125 to 140 in a couple months…my hands were shaky for a while too it,but my family and friends helped me through it..and music helped alot too.Good luck man..but remember each person is different.
