Question by Insane: What do girls think of super nice, religious guys/nerds?
A typical example would be a guy who takes care of himself–would never do drugs, smoke anything or drink alcohol–works out daily; eats disgusting, bland, healthy food; derives pleasure from reading news and Biology and Chemistry textbooks; is very committed to his religion; and is goal-oriented for his future career and research.

I’m fine with that. There isnt anything wrong with a guy who has class & values. We need more like that. I’m religious so I wont judge anybody else for being religious
Almost sounds like my husband. lol
I met my husband online when I was 18 & he was 26. Our second date was to go to his parents church & then meet his family. My husband is an electrical engineer and when we met he had his own buisness designing capping & filling machines. he now works for a company. He’s a Christian & so am I.
We waited till our wedding night & been together now for 16yrs blessed with 3 kids.
I wouldn’t say a guy like this is a nerd at all.
In my opinion that sounds like the perfect kind of guy. Knows how to stay healthy and take care of himself, is very close to God, and knows what he wants to do with his life.
Sorry, but I couldn’t date a guy like that.I mean it’s awesome that he takes care of himself, I like that, but he sounds so…unexciting? He just sounds to safe for me, I prefer spontaneous, loud and funny guys. I would be sort of intimidated and bored by this guys *perfection* because it’s so different from me. As for religion, I don’t like organized religion, if you believe in god, well that’s cool I do to, but I don’t want someone who is shoving their religion down my throat and telling me that if I don’t believe his way, than I am lesser of a person. I actually had 2 boyfriends that tried to convert me. 1. I told him I was doubting existence in god and he said I needed to start going to youth group with him so we could change that. He thought it was a good thing for him to say that. HA! 2. This guys dad was a pastor of a christian church so he had youth group at his house so I agreed to go only so I could spend time with him though. When I got their a few of the guys were bashing on the catholic religion (which I was baptized into as a baby) and they all seemed to think that was normal to do. At youth group. I was just thinking what the fcuk?
So super religious guys are a red flag for me.
