Now they want to have her commited to a rehab. how do they go about doing that in phoenix,az?
my family wants to commit her not the hospital.

she is and adult they can not commit her she has to go of her own free will if she was a minor it wouldnt be aproblem until she is ready there is nothing yall can do. sorry

The hospital has a social worker on duty. Ask her. she coordinates things like that.
If that isn’t what you want, call local United Way & ask them.
I don’t know how they go about it and I know you’re not suppose to answer questions if you don’t know the answer but I wanted to say it’s prob the best idea to have her admitted and good luck. Usually the hospital keeps her till there will be an opening somewhere and then they’ll transport her to the facility. Good Luck.
