What’s a fancier word for someone who dies from a night of binge drinking, how or why could they have died? I need details. This is for a fiction male whose father died after a night of “drinking himself to death” but I’d like to know why… kidney failure, etc. What could the alcohol have done to him to kill him.

It kills you by depressing your nervous system so much that your heart can stop beating. Also some people just choke on their own vomit. It also causes brain damage and knocks people unconscious.
