Question by bustitbaby949: How does this story idea sound? Involves rehab, drugs, sex, etc?
I just thought of it last night so I don’t have too many details.
It would be about a troubled teen (16-18) that is forced to go to rehab.
She drinks, does meth and cuts
The rehab is specifically for younger people (below age 21)
She meets a girl there that is anorexic.
At first they dislike eachother, not understanding eachother’s problems
They develop a friendship then, a relationship
I’m not sure what to do after that. I know something exciting or unexpected has to happen, I just don’t know what yet.
I have read books involving lesbians and books involving drugs/rehab. But never one with both, so I thought I might try to write one. I would research the drugs and everything. :)
Ideas? Does it sound stupid?

I think it sounds like the kind of thing a lot of people read nowadays. Not my cup of tea, I grant you, but my sister in law goes crackers for books like this. She likes that kind of stark modern drama. Yeah. She’s cool.

Sounds like something I would read. As bad as it sounds, I love reading books where the characters have multiple problems and are an all around mess.
Also, these characters, if written well enough, will be realistic and relateable. More than you can say for all that paranormal romance tripe.
