Question by thegubmint: Is the FDA a good place for the Repubs to start cutting spending?
They obviously have more than enough resources if they have the time and funding to do stupid crap studies worrying about energy drinks with alcohol in them. Is it time to pare down their budget?

A million here and a million there and pretty soon you’re talking about real money.

No. Safe food, drinks, and drugs are essential to the everyday life of most Americans.

The FDA budget is trivial compared to the rest of the budget.
The FDA is bought & paid for by Big Pharma and are responsible for thousands of deaths, but that always get’s swept under the rug. I agree that they need the corruption cleaned up, they need to be downsized and their oversite areas downsized. The fact that they even allow Big Pharma to push drugs at us ALL DAY LONG on TV is just a small testament to the fact they are corrupt! I could cite problem after problem but I’ll suffice to say, YES, the FDA needs to be cut WAY back!
no because then that area would become non important and useless
