At Stages of Recovery, Inc. — The Door, we believe that everyone seeking a clean and sober lifestyle needs support in multiple areas to make their experience successful. The lessons learned and attitudes developed in the first six months of recovery form the foundation from which anyone can successfully pursue a sober and productive life as adults. The Door provides men with a safe, communal environment that fosters an atmosphere of recovery. With recovery support and communication, we feel that we can offer a place with light restrictions that will help men get in touch with their goals and maintain their individuality at the same time. Our goal is to help build self confidence, develop practical life skills, learn the value of community and service, and get back on track with the goals that drugs and alcohol have taken from them.
