Can people become addicted to allergy medicine and antibotics?

Question by Danielle Grubb: Can people become addicted to allergy medicine and antibotics?
I’m not going to name any names but i know some one who i believe is addicted to allergy and antibiotic medicine. ok yeah people have a lot of allergies but this person is well the sickest person in the world ok. Literally everyday he/she has something wrong with them. if they walk outside for no longer than 5 mins the next day they have a headache its cause they walked outside, if they have the windows open she is allergic to the air. everything they eat they r having an allergic reaction too. at least 5 times a month they r going to the doctor, but its not like the doctor is giving them narcotics, just allergy pill, shots or some kind of antibiotic. this person has more allergy and antibiotics than a pharmacy? I’m really worried that maybe they might actually be addicted or maybe they r a hypochondriac? pleas help me.

You can’t get addicted to antibiotics. Your friend is a hypochondriac, not an addict.
