Question by Mandy Pants: What’s the difference between Crack and Crack Cocaine?
I’m doing a Healthy Living project for my Planning 10 class and was wondering what the differences were. I would also like to know for my own personal interest seeing as my mother is a recovering addict of a drug addiction to Crack Cociane.

Crack is Crack cocaine.

Crack and Crack cocaine are the same thing. It is made using cocaine and other ingredients. Yellowish rocks that can be smoked or mixed with lemon juice or vinegar and injected.
Cocaine is a white powder and can be injested any number of ways. Cocaine is not crack.’
Although they are similar in effects, the law is applied much more harshly to crack. Sometimes is like 5 or 10 years mandatory for possession of a small amount. Where as possession of cocaine is like a slap on the wrist with 6 mo. probation and community service.
