Question by Greg Sharps: Does binge drinking alcohol destroy the livers ability to store glycogen?
I get hypoglycemia and panic attacks i figured I may be diabetic but all the test are normal now im thinking from my past drinking that I have lost the ability to store glycogen in the liver effectively? Im 29 and used to be heavy beer drinker im not a big guy 5-9 155 pounds so this is not good! I have quit now for three years but the damage has been done? This seems logical right is there any way to get tested for a liver glycogen test?

It’s destroys the liver’s ability to even function.
