I have gone clubbing quite a bit and it is filthy generally, with spew all over the toilets or floor and people on drugs, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, dancing, laughing, yelling, screaming and fighting. A lot of promiscuous girls who want to be taken home by strangers as well.

People cant deal with their problems so they get so drunk they dont feel or think about things anymore, which is dumb cause you’ll just do it the next day….so they keep doing it. Clubs generally are full of people with no real personality so loud music, drinks and drugs make them seem more interesting
If you never lowered your inhibitions you would not make many friends. Drinking is a good way to take down the wall people put up so others cannot see who they truly are.
If you want to make bad decisions, what better place? Get impaired around a lot of other people that are impaired and some bad decisions are bound to be made.
Plus there is the bonus of feeling like life long friends with someone just because you got drunk together lol.
Dionysian impulse. Plus alcohol itself is physically addictive.
