Question by Kenny W: My best friend just got in trouble for drinking…?
My best friend, 19, got in trouble for drinking last night. She went to visit a friend at a different University for the night and she got an M.I.P. (Minor in Possession) for alcohol. Her parents are extremely strict and she called me last night in tears. How can she break the news to her parents in a way that they wont be as pissed off?

She can lie and say that she was holding someone else’s drink or she can tell the truth and take the stinging results.
Shes 19. In most countries that older than the minimum for an adult, she should just tell them and if they got a problem then its their problem not hers.
Have her start by telling them she made a HUGE mistake and have her start crying and shit like that. Have her tell them how much she loves them blah blah blah. Parents get off on that shit. If they are really strict then they’re still gonna be pissed but by making them feel bad they will lighten up. Then she should just tell them she’s human she makes mistakes, she’ll never ever do it again, she is just a teenager, etc.
Hope I helped =]
don’t tell them….it’s a ticket it goes away
