Q&A: Effects of first time binge drinking?

Question by Rrun: Effects of first time binge drinking?
I had a bout of binge drinking for my 21st birthday. I had five drinks over a span of two hours. I am a skinnier male who rarely consumes alcohol at all, and when I do its 1-2 drinks maximum. Did I do brain damage from that one day? I feel like I can’t recite things I just read anymore. This happened 5 days ago.
I felt drunk and had mild nausea before bed. I had no hangover the next morning

you’re fine. You hardly drank anything (in my book)…did you even get drunk and have a hangover the next day?

You always do some damage to your brain, body and liver when you binge drink. One time does a little damage, every time after that a little more till it does a lot more each time. Please stop now before you do damage that won’t repair itself.

Technically you haven’t been binge drinking.
Binge drinking is the consumption of 5+ drinks in under a one hour period.

You’re a goner man! Games over! You’re history dude! I’ve been binging for over 30 years and now I can’t even type a letter. Oh wait. I just did. Never mind.

If you’re 21 and popped only 5 drinks in just two hours, that is NOT binge drinking, but get yourself to church and repent just the same. You’re in way over your head already bub!
