It is a controlled and countable drug in any pharmacy or hospital. However, it is not considered a narcotic or an opiate. It is a synthetic drug that works very much like a narcotic pain reliever.
It is often used for people with previous history of narcotic addiction. It is very non-addictive and does not produce the euphoric feeling that other pain meds do, but is still very effective.
What do you think? Answer below!

Yes Tramadol is a mild opiate it works at the μ-opioid receptor and affects reuptake at thenoradrenergic and serotonergic systems. Which means not only is it a mild synthetic opiate its also affects your seritonin receptors in your brain releasing seritonin its not like a reguler SSRI if you have the 50mg pills about 400mg is a good dosage WARNING*** DO NOT TAKE ANY MORE THAN 400mg OR YOU CAN RISK OF HAVING A SEIZURE. anyways 400mg is a lot to take i would take about 200mg 400 at the most The weird thing is that when you take 2-400mg it gives you a light mdma come on feeling that feels really good and also it feels like you ate a bunch of vicidon i wouldnt use this drug recreationally but some people just dont listen, be safe. take it as recomended but if your going to abuse it like i said which i dono if u are but remember DONT TAKE OVER 400 MG =) hope this helps… there is some more information on this drug below
Tramadol is a synthetic stripped-down analog of codeine and, as such, is an opioid. Opioids are chemical compounds which act upon one or more of the human opiate receptors. The opioid agonistic effect of tramadol and its major metabolite(s) almost exclusively mediated by the substance’s action at the μ-opioid receptor. This characteristic distinguishes tramadol from many other substances (including morphine) of the opioid drug class.
very very addictive narcotic
It mimics a light codeine. If it’s taken on an empty stomach in high doses people can catch a buzz. I don’t think it should be controlled though.
