I think binge is when you go out once in a while, but drink waaaay too much waaaay too quickly.
Heavy drinking seems like it would be more like drinking all the time, or very frequently.

binge drinking is drinking excessively until you have no control – you may be sick or just pass out – usually by people who dont’ drink all the time but when they do they almost drain the bar
heavy drinking is a person that drinks every day and not just one or two but a lot of drinks in a sitting – fine line between excessive drinking and an alcoholic.
ya don’t know your going on a binge till it happens , Heavy drinking you do know your doing (my opinion)
binge drinking is drinking to get drunk
heavy drinking is drinking over more than a day
Yes there is a difference! Binge drinking can also be done at the same time with heavy drinking. BINGE DRINKING is doing it at any one time for an extended period .Like for 24 hours. Any drinkable mind altering liquid from one place to another. Heavy drinking could be drinking “heavies” but not for long periods. Not my experience though this !!
