Binge drinking happens on virtually every college campus. Minnesota Public Radio producer Charlie Knutson asked students near the University of Minnesota what motivates young people to binge drink. Video Rating: 3 / 5
typical childish americans, cant legally drink before 21 in their police state, and then they just become alcoholics and use lots of drugs without thinking coz they think their parents and schools were wrong about that also
young people drink bcos they want to change how they feel and that is the only way they know, they are lonely + want to feel good/ free, simple as that
thanks for the video !
It’s much more lear now !
and please pple ! stop getting drunk just to be drunk ! it’s no fun and you can finish with very bad consequences ..
to lower the age won’t help. in germany you were allowed to drink with 16 (they changed it to 18 recently) and there have been way too many drunken teenagers.
mostly parents of binge drinkers have problems with alcohol as well, many of them have also family and/or relationship problems.
if you do binge drinking you want to exceed your limits it’s also important not to be alone. if you start earlier to drink legal, the risk for your health will be even higher.
its because we’re slowly realizing we have our whole miserable lives ahead of us.
but seriously, lower the drinking age to 18 and this problem wouldnt happen. Its when young people are forced to drink behind closed doors instead of in a bar or a club that these situations occur. People need to be taught self control and moderation instead of intolerance at a younger age.

we drink because a 21 year old drinking age creates a speakeasy culture.

The primary female interviewee is highly sexist. We drink because human beings inherently desire to alter their natural states of mind.
i condone that as negative!!!
