someone told me that drinking to get drunk considers you an alcoholic or will become an alcoholic. i just want to hear what everyone else has to say.

i realize this is an advanced stage. the organs are shutting down and the body can no longer process the alcohol….. the sweat smells horrible, the breath even worse. manual dexterity is declining…….
In my family, people usually drink a small glass of plum brandy before lunch and a glass of wine after. What about all the other common alcoholic drinks such as whiskey, beer, liqueur, vodka etc? What’s the etiquette for them?
Also what alcoholic beverage or liquor gets your blood alcohol level up the fastest?
