My mum was an alcoholic but ive been told that she still drinks sometimes. So i was curious if this still makes her an alcoholic?
How is a person who is an ‘alcoholic’ classified as an alcoholic? Does it have to do with the number of drinks they need to become drunk, their dependency on alcohol to make them feel good, how often they binge drink with their friends, their amount of alcohol consumption, etc?
Does this mean that the drug rehab program that they were made to undergo just wasn’t effective enough? Or is it more of the fault of the individual?
